چکیده
This article studies the catalytic activity of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in oxidation reactions aliphatic and polycyclic hydrocarbons is studied. In order to determine activity, MWCNTs catalysts containing 22.8% Fe each were used. Catalyst samples synthesized from propane gas under optimal conditions determined by CVD method. The experiments performed at 5 different temperatures (60, 80, 100, 120, 1400C) for 2 hours. No significant change reaction both was observed relatively low temperatures. decalin, when temperature rises 1200C 1400C, has already taken place, rate directly proportional increase temperature. same trend can be seen tetradecane with 120 1400C. However, unlike sample showed performance 1200C. these temperatures, where occurs, decalin an environment without a catalyst almost non-existent

boron nitride semiconducting zigzag swcnt, $b_{cb}$$n_{cn}$$c_{1-cb-cn}$, as a potential candidate for making nanoelectronic devices was examined. in contrast to the previous dft calculations, wherein just one boron and nitrogen doping configuration have been considered, here for the average over all possible configurations, density of states (dos) was calculated in terms of boron and nitrogen ...

Nitrogen-containing carbon nanotubes (NCNT) are effective re-usable solid base catalysts, their activity for a Knoevenagel condensation being related to the amount of pyridinic nitrogen incorporated in the NCNT structure, which could be tuned by the synthesis parameters of the catalyst.

A practical aerobic oxidation of indole carbinols using Fe(NO3)3·9H2O/TEMPO/NaCl in DCE at room temperature and atmospheric pressure of oxygen affording aldehydes or ketones in good to excellent yields was developed. Furthermore, when using the industrially favored solvent toluene instead of DCE and air instead of pure oxygen, this protocol also works smoothly, demonstrating its high potential ...

متن کاملFormic Acid Oxidation over Hierarchical Porous Carbon Containing PtPd Catalysts
The use of high surface monolithic carbon as support for catalysts offers important advantage, such as elimination of the ohmic drop originated in the interparticle contact and improved mass transport by ad-hoc pore design. Moreover, the approach discussed here has the advantage that it allows the synthesis of materials having a multimodal porous size distribution, with each pore size contribut...
