چکیده
Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumours in reproductive system. They proliferations of smooth muscle cells myometrium containing a large quantity extracellular matrix and they surrounded by pseudo capsule compressed areolar tissue cells. can cause various symptoms such as menorrhage, pain infertility therefore be traumatic experience for several women. The treatment choice is myomectomy. In past, myomectomy was performed relatively atraumatic techniques, which involved stretching myoma from its pseudocapsule to extract fibroid directly surrounding fibromuscular tissue, breaking up fibrous bridge. Modern laparoscopic intracapsular (LIM), however, leaves fibrovascular network (namely “fibroid neurovascular bundle”) intact reduces bleeding and/or uterine musculature trauma, spares neuropeptide fibers pseudocapsule. this observational study, we compare two techniques-laparoscopic (LIM) conventional abdominal (CAM) regarding longterm healing significantly faster process incision achieved LIM compared CAM.

Fertility after laparoscopic myomectomy of large intramural myomas: preliminary results.
Fertility outcome following laparoscopic myomectomy was evaluated. A prospective clinical study was carried out between October 1990 and October 1993 in 21 infertile patients who underwent laparoscopic myomectomy for a myoma measuring > or = 5 cm in diameter. The overall rate of intrauterine pregnancy was 33.3% (seven patients). Out of 12 patients with infertility factors associated with uterin...

The aim of this study was to assess the feasibility and efficacy of laparoscopic myomectomy (LM) for large myomas. A subpopulation of 51 patients with myomas 8 cm or larger in diameter was selected from 155 patients who underwent LM at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital from July 2003 to November 2006. The mean age of the patients was 34.9 +/- 5.6 yr, mean parity was 0.6 +/- 0.9, and 8 patients had a pre...

Most women develop myomas during their lifetimes; however, 80% are asymptomatic. When symptoms are determined to be caused by myomas, a number of management options exist that include "watchful waiting," medical therapy, surgery, or more recently uterine artery embolization and focused ultrasound. Myomectomy, either abdominal or laparoscopic, is an approach particularly suited for those women w...
متن کاملRecurrence of uterine myoma after myomectomy: Open myomectomy versus laparoscopic myomectomy
AIM Open myomectomy (OM) was previously frequently performed; however, laparoscopic myomectomy (LM) has recently become more common. Nevertheless, myoma can recur after both LM and OM. In this study, we report our retrospective investigation of myoma recurrence by comparing LM and OM. METHODS A total of 474 patients underwent LM and 279 patients underwent OM. The patients were followed-up pos...

Uterine leiomyomas are the most common solid pelvic tumor, occurring in 20% of women over age 35. Most are asymptomatic and can be followed with vaginal ultrasound to rule out ovarian neoplasms and rapid increases in fibroid size. Thus, surgery can usually be avoided. Hypermenorrhea is the major symptom in women with uterine leiomyomas who seek treatment. Other complaints include infertility an...
