Fast long-distance transport of cold cesium atoms

Transporting cold atoms between distant sections of a vacuum system is central ingredient in many quantum simulation experiments, particular setups, where large optical access and precise control over magnetic fields needed. In this work, we demonstrate transport cesium total transfer distance about $43\,$cm less than $30\,$ms. The high speed facilitated by moving lattice, which generated via the interference Bessel Gaussian laser beam. We $3\times 10^6$ at temperature few $\mu$K with efficiency $75\%$. provide detailed study for different accelerations lattice depths find that mainly limited potential depth along direction gravity. To highlight suitability optical-transport setup generation pure Bose-Einstein condensate $2\times 10^4$ atoms. robust final atom number within $2\%$ duration $2.5\,$h standard deviation $<5\%$ individual experimental realizations.
