FACTORS FAVOURING HELMINTHS PARASITES PREVALENCE IN PTYCHADENA MASCARENIENSIS FROM WETLAND AND FORESTS OF URBAN AND PERI-URBAN AREAS OF DALOA DEPARTMENT (IVORY COAST, WEST AFRICA)

The period from November 2018 to June 2020 was marked by the sampling of amphibians in wetlands and forests urban peri-urban areas Daloa department. Three types habitats were explored: shallows peri-urbanizing forests. Ptychadenamascareniensis only one amphibian species found be constant at 14 sites study area. It therefore used evaluate parasitic infections sites. Thus, 381 specimens examined 124 infected helminths parasites. A total 5 belonging 3 classes identified: three nematodes species: Rhabdiasbufonis Cosmocercaornata Capillaria sp. trematode: Haplometroideseburnense cestode: Proteocephalus Globally, prevalence parasites area 32.54%. In shallows, 36.08%, 34.09% 17.46% respectively. There a significant difference between forest (Mann-Whitney test p < 0.05). addition, favoured two factors. They firstly parameters with strong positive correlation like soil cover grasses, human pressure, water pH temperature, secondly negative prevalence: air canopy, litter cover, number woody plants relative humidity.
