چکیده

Abstract Honeybee venom (HBV) is an important product of beehives, and its benefits for health have been rediscovered by modern medicine. Since HBV has the potential to treat some diseases, quality production conditions require a detailed investigation. The objective this study understand how season, harvesting time (day or night), site beehives (inside entrance) geographic location affects through analysis apamin, melittin phospholipase A 2 (PLA2) content. Each set six colonies were used differences in these components when harvested daytime either from entrance inside hives nighttime hives. experiment also investigated seasonal as samples each month May August 2019 our apiary. Furthermore, effect on was examined comparison data obtained twenty-seven collected beekeepers using same device, located Turkish cities Manisa, Mu?la, Bal?kesir, Düzce Mersin. results demonstrated that statistically significant amounts analyzed not dependent time, collection season. On other hand, region significantly differed all three components, ranging 1.28% 3.81% 19.51–64.03% 7.22%–28.18% PLA2. However, beekeepers’ improper practices during storing might be most critical parameters determine HBV.

Effect of honey bee venom on differentiation of cholinergic neurons

Mouse P19 embryonic carcinoma (EC) cells are pluripotent and can differentiate into a population consisting largely of neurons and glia cells using a concentration of 5x10(-7)M of retinoic acid (RA). Thus, P19 EC cells are a good model system to study events occurring during the critical phases of neuronal differentiation, in vitro. Honey bee venom (BV) consists of mellitin, phospholipase A2, a...
