چکیده
A novel inorganic–organic biosorbent, polyethyleneimine (PEI)-modified nanocellulose cross-linked with magnetic bentonite, was prepared for the removal of Cu(?) from water. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that amino carboxyl groups were successfully grafted onto structure. The adsorption performance various factors, using investigated. results show equilibrium could be reached within a short time (10 min), capacity up to 757.45 mg/g. kinetics isotherms well-fitted pseudo-second-order Freundlich isotherm models, respectively. process composite is mainly controlled by chemisorption, functional group chelation electrostatic force mechanisms; pore filling also has great influence on Cu(?). It found modified potential heavy metals

Background: Environmental contamination by chromium (Cr) has become an important issue due to its adverse effects on human health and environment. This study was done to evaluate the application of modified bentonite using sulfuric acid as an adsorbent in the removal of hexavalent Cr from aqueous solution. Methods: Adsorbent features were determined using x-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transf...
متن کاملRemoval of Cu(II) from Ethanol Fuel Using Mandarin Peel as Biosorbent
Mandarin peels were investigated for the removal of copper ions from ethanol fuel. Infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis were used for elucidating possible functional groups responsible for the adsorption of Cu(II) from ethanol. The influence of parameters such as the mass of the adsorbent, sample pH, stirring time, and initial copper(II) concentration was investigated using mult...
