چکیده
Multilayer composites have recently attracted considerable attention due to their ability take advantage of the benefits various metallic materials simultaneously. The present study is first use parallel tubular channel angular pressing (PTCAP) as a severe plastic deformation method fabricate bimetal Al/Mg tube. This process was applied on commercially pure aluminum along with an AM60 magnesium alloy at temperature range 250-400 °C. According microstructural and mechanical tests, there strong bond between layers besides grain refinement after process. Additionally, microhardness examinations showed that excellent homogeneity in addition dramatic increase hardness bimetallic PTCAP processed Scanning electron microscope energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy analyses interface also results shear strength test by increasing temperature, diffusion rate increases. For instance, significant bonding 30 MPa achieved specimen 400 Therefore, these investigations substantiate can be used appropriate cladding technique for obtaining simultaneous microstructures sufficient production tubes.

MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE ULTRAFINE-GRAINED COPPER TUBE PRODUCED BY SEVERE PLASTIC DEFORMATION
In this paper, cyclic flaring and sinking (CFS) as a new severe plastic deformation (SPD) method was employed to produce the ultrafine grain (UFG) copper tubes. The extra friction has eliminated in the CFS method that provided the possibility for production of longer UFG tubes compared to the other SPD methods. This process was done periodically to apply more strain and consequently finer grain...

The processing of metals through the application of severe plastic deformation (SPD) techniques provides the potential for achieving exceptional grain refinement leading to ultrafine-grained (UFG) materials in bulk solids. These materials generally exhibit high strength but very limited ductility at room temperature (RT) leading to the so-called paradox of strength and ductility. The recent dev...

متن کاملEBSD characterization of nano/ultrafine structured Al/Brass composite produced by severe plastic deformation
In the present work, nano/ultrafine structured Al/Brass composite was produced by accumulative roll bonding (ARB) up to eight cycles. The evolution of grain refinement and deformation texture and their effect on the mechanical properties were investigated. It was observed that by increasing the ARB cycles, due to the difference in flow properties of the metal constituents, brass layers necked, ...

High-pressure torsion (HPT) is a metal processing method in which the sample is subjected to a very high plastic shear deformation. This process can produce exceptional levels of grain refinement, and provides a corresponding improvement in mechanical properties. To investigate the stress and strain distribution due to HPT process finite element simulation were conducted to investigate effectiv...
