چکیده

We report here the fabrication of sputter-deposited Au nanoparticles on ITO (Sn-doped indium oxide)-coated glass substrate. The effect varying annealing parameters, viz., time and temperature in conjunction with thickness parameters has been thoroughly investigated. Synthesized were characterized using a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), Rutherford backscattering (RBS) measurement, X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical absorbance spectroscopy. role duration evolution discussed detail based present study shows that 5 nm thin film which was annealed at 500 °C for 90 min exhibited strongest surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect.

Fabrication of nanoelectrode ensembles by electrodepositon of Au nanoparticles on single-layer graphene oxide sheets.

Nanoelectrode ensembles (NEEs) have been fabricated by the electrodeposition of Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) on single-layer graphene oxide (GO) sheets coated on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The fabricated NEEs show a typical sigmoidal shaped voltammetric profile, arising from the low coverage density of AuNPs on GCE and large distance among them, which can be easily controlled by varying the e...

Photocatalytic Activities Enhanced by Au-Plasmonic Nanoparticles on TiO2 Nanotube Photoelectrode Coated with MoO3

Although TiO2 was formerly a common material for photocatalysis reactions, its wide band gap (3.2 eV) results in absorbing only ultraviolet light, which accounts for merely 4% of total sunlight. Modifying TiO2 has become a focus of photocatalysis reaction research, and combining two metal oxide semiconductors is the most common method in the photocatalytic enhancement process. When MoO3 and TiO...

Plasmonic enhancement of second harmonic generation on metal coated nanoparticles.

Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) is a widely used tool to study surfaces. Here we investigate SHG from spherical nanoparticles consisting of a dielectric core (radius 100 nm) and a metallic shell of variable thickness. Plasmonic resonances occur that depend on the thickness of the nanoshells and boost the intensity of the Second Harmonic (SH) signal. The origin of the resonances is studied for ...

Fabrication and plasmonic characterization of Au nanowires with controlled surface morphology

Gold nanowires are attracting great attention due to their ability to sustain surface plasmons and are thus promising candidates for sensing applications such as surface enhanced Raman and infrared spectroscopy. Controlling all nanowire parameters is crucial to adjust the resonance wavelengths and to obtain high electric field enhancements. We have fabricated Au nanowires with controlled dimens...
