Extremely brilliant crystal-based light sources

چکیده

The feasibility of novel gamma-ray light sources based on the channeling phenomenon ultrarelativistic charged particles in oriented crystals is demonstrated by means rigorous numerical modeling that accounts for interaction a projectile with all atoms crystalline environment. Accurate predictions are provided brilliance radiation emitted diamond-based undulator 10 GeV positron beam available at present SLAC facility. It shown photon energy range $$\hbar \omega \gtrsim 1$$ MeV higher than predicted Gamma Factory proposal CERN. Novel crystal-based may have broad applications.
