چکیده

Aims: The study was conducted on black soybean seeds (Glycine max. L) to optima the conditions of some factors affecting extracted yield polyphenol compounds.
Study Design: include types solvent used (methanol, ethanol and acetone); concentrations (40, 50, 60, 70, 80 90 % v/v); ratio sample (1:4,1:6, 1:8, 1:10) cycle extractions (2, 3, 4); extract times 4h) temperature (30, 40, 60 oC). efficiency shown by content total phenolic (TPC) flavonoid (TFC).
Place Duration Study: Department Biotechnology Food technology, Thai Nguyen University Agriculture Forestry, Viet Nam, from March 2021 2022.
Methodology: were pulverized a mill defatted using Soxhlet system with hexane for 10 hrs as described Weidner et al. (2012). TPC determined Folin-Ciocalteu method Susu Giang al (2013). TFC colorimetric Ozsoy (2008).
Results: results showed that extraction high when 70% acetone solvent; appropriate 1:10 3 cycles extraction. can be improved extracting samples at 60oC 4 hours, reached about 5.02±0.04 mgGAE/g 2.74±0.03 mgQE/g.
Conclusion: is most suitable polyphenols soybean. in (w/v), three hours each 60°C highest TFC, reaching 7.02 ±0.04 mgQE/g, respectively.

Screening of Microfungi from Soybean (glycine Max L.) Seeds

Seed health testing by studying the seed-borne fungi of soybean seeds is an important step in the management of the seed-borne diseases. In the present study seed-borne fungi was studied by using agar plate method. A number of seed-borne fungal species was isolated from the agar plate. These seed-borne fungal sps. were Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, A. fumigatus, Chaetomium globosum, Curvularia ...

Phenolic content and antioxidant properties of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) seeds.

The contents and antioxidant ability of various classes of phenolic compounds present in the seeds of twenty soybean hybrids were evaluated. Total phenolics, tannins and proanthocyanidins were determined spectrophotometrically, after extraction of seeds with 70% aqueous acetone. In addition, the flavonoid contents were determined. The antioxidant activity of aqueous acetone extracts was evaluat...

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr].

In this chapter we describe an Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformation method of soybean that utilizes mature half seeds and regeneration from the cotyledonary node region. This method results in fertile transformed soybean plants and transgenic seed in approximately 9 months. Using mature half seeds as starting material has proven to be a reliable method that does not require additional wound...

Characterization of an Acidic Chitinase from Seeds of Black Soybean (Glycine max (L) Merr Tainan No. 3)

Using 4-methylumbelliferyl-β-D-N,N',N″-triacetylchitotrioside (4-MU-GlcNAc3) as a substrate, an acidic chitinase was purified from seeds of black soybean (Glycine max Tainan no. 3) by ammonium sulfate fractionation and three successive steps of column chromatography. The purified chitinase was a monomeric enzyme with molecular mass of 20.1 kDa and isoelectric point of 4.34. The enzyme catalyzed...

Flavonoid 6-hydroxylase from soybean (Glycine max L.), a novel plant P-450 monooxygenase.

Cytochrome P-450-dependent hydroxylases are typical enzymes for the modification of basic flavonoid skeletons. We show in this study that CYP71D9 cDNA, previously isolated from elicitor-induced soybean (Glycine max L.) cells, codes for a protein with a novel hydroxylase activity. When heterologously expressed in yeast, this protein bound various flavonoids with high affinity (1.6 to 52 microm) ...
