The industrialization since the beginning of previous century led to loss a significant number breeds. But it should be remembered, that disappearance breed is not only an important unit supplemented uniqueness specific landscape, met needs certain category people who lived in this territory, performed rituals associated with traditions and evolved complemented culture nation, but as well – genes, which were revealed at time, future could provide development latest technologies new products, type knowledge, skills useful peculiarities.
 analysis literal source base past centuries confirms Polish, Red Smilyan, Ukrainian White-Backed, Black-and-White Podilian cattle breeding, sheep breeding 9 breeds (Walahian, Pirni, Reshetilivska, Chushka, Mazayev Merino, Malich, Hutsulian, Chuntuk), horse Streletsky, Germano-Bessarabian, Nogai Tarpan. 3 populations have disappeared pig breeding.
