Extended Weighted ABG: A Robust Non-Linear ABG-Based Approach for Optimal Combination of ABG Path-Loss Propagation Models

چکیده

This paper proposes a robust non-linear generalized path-loss propagation model, the Extended Weighted ABG (EWABG), which efficiently allows generating model by combining several available datasets (from measurements campaigns) and other previously proposed state-of-the-art 5G models. The EWABG works integrating individual models into one single in least-squares sense, allowing to extend knowledge from frequencies distances covered or is first extension of common ABG-based approach, surpasses non-uniformity problem between low high (as most campaigns have taken place frequencies). also addresses removing outlier measurements, step not included previous In this case, we compared recent techniques for avoiding outliers, adopted Theil-Sen method, due its strong robustness demonstrated experiments carried out. addition, specifically considers attenuation atmospheric gases, order improve estimations. good performance has been tested against including WABG exhaustive experimentation out includes non-line-of-sight environment different scenarios, UMiSC, UMiOS UMa. obtains best accuracy, specially noisy environments with reporting negligible increment error rates (with respect non-outliers situation), lower than 1%, WABG.

VBG Vs ABG in DKA Patients

BACKGROUND: Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a life-threatening endocrine emergency, traditionally requiring arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis for diagnosis and monitoring. The aim of our study was to assess the comparability of arterial and venous blood samples for pH and bicarbonate measurements in patients with DKA. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Prospective, observational study of patients with suspe...

Poor survival of ABG I hip prosthesis in younger patients.

BACKGROUND Hydroxyapatite coated (HAC) hip implants have been used in clinical practice for more than two decades. However, the majority of studies have reported only intermediate term outcomes that are not reliable for predicting long-term behavior in all implants. The aim of this study was to determine the performance of HAC total hip arthroplasty in younger patients over a 10-year follow-up ...

Osmotic pressure regulates abg-rENaC expressed in Xenopus oocytes

Ji, Hong-Long, Catherine M. Fuller, and Dale J. Benos. Osmotic pressure regulates abg-rENaC expressed in Xenopus oocytes. Am. J. Physiol. 275 (Cell Physiol. 44): C1182–C1190, 1998.—The hypothesis that amiloride-sensitive Na1 channels (ENaC) are involved in cell volume regulation was tested. Anisosmotic ND-20 media (ranging from 70 to 450 mosM) were used to superfuse Xenopus oocytes expressing a...
