Expression of M2-associated molecules in circulating monocyte subsets in fertile non-pregnant women and pregnant women with uncomplicated pregnancy

چکیده
In humans circulating monocytes include classical (CD14 ++ CD16 - ), intermediate + ) and non-classical/alternative monocytes, which in turn can be activated via the or alternative pathway. Pregnancy is accompanied by significant changes monocyte compartment, manifested an increase number of including proportion a change their function. However, functional properties subsets during gestation remain largely unexplored. We hypothesized that may pattern acquire features M2 polarization (anti-inflammatory / immunosuppressive properties). The aim investigation was to study M2-associated markers characterize anti-inflammatory potential myeloid cells subpopulations fertile nonpregnant women with uncomplicated pregnancy 2nd trimester. It shown non-pregnant non-classical are characterized higher expression (CD206, Arginase 1, MerTK) compared monocytes. 2 nd trimester pregnancy, these molecules on increases significantly, 1) CD206 2) mean fluorescence intensity 1 all subsets, 3) MerTK across subsets. highest content pregnant detected subpopulation values – data obtained demonstrate signs polarization. This confirmed not only mannose receptor CD206, but also MerTK, mediate activity and, particular, macrophages phenotype. Further studies will allow more detailed characterization regulatory role pregnancy.

متن کاملTreatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infection in non-pregnant women.
A study of placebo treatment of acute symptomatic urinary tract infection in non-pregnant women showed that about 80%4 obtained sterile urine spontaneously within 5 months. About one-half of these had recurrent infection within a year. Antimicrobials produced a high immediate cure rate, but only 45°o maintained sterile urine for 2 years. The recurrence rate was highest during the first 2 months...

Background The aim of this study was to evaluate copper status in women with preeclampsia. MaterialsAndMethods Sixty preeclamptic, sixty normotensive pregnant and sixty healthy nonpregnant women were enrolled in a cross sectional study. The 24-hour urine copper was compared among the women. Results There was significant difference in the copper concentration of 24-hour urine among the three gro...
متن کاملCirculating IGF1 and IGF2 and SNP genotypes in men and pregnant and non-pregnant women
Circulating IGFs are important regulators of prenatal and postnatal growth, and of metabolism and pregnancy, and change with sex, age and pregnancy. Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in genes coding for these hormones associate with circulating abundance of IGF1 and IGF2 in non-pregnant adults and children, but whether this occurs in pregnancy is unknown. We therefore investigated associat...
