Exposure to Bioaerosols During Fish Processing on Board Norwegian Fishing Trawlers

Abstract Objectives The main objective was to gain more knowledge on exposure bioaerosols in the processing area board fishing trawlers. Methods Exposure sampling carried out during work shifts when fish five deep-sea trawlers (trawlers 1–5). samples were collected from 64 fishermen breathing zone and stationary stations (1–5). Trawler had most extensive processing, producing fillets. Samples analysed total protein, trypsin activity, parvalbumin, endotoxin.
