Sales forecasting is important in production and supply chain management. It affects firms’ planning, strategy, marketing, logistics, warehousing resource While traditional time series methods prevail research practice, they have several limitations. Causal are capable of predicting future sales behavior based on relationships between variables not just past trends. This proposes a framework for modeling export using Genetic Programming, which an artificial intelligence technique derived from the model biological evolution.
