چکیده

Abstract In this paper the methodology and results of validation a multi-physical system model direct drive wind turbine are presented. The analyzed serves purpose examining structure borne sound resulting from electromagnetic excitations inside turbine’s generator. To study accuracy to increase confidence in simulation results, an experimental is performed course work. Hereby, compared with data measurement campaign which real generator was tested on full-scale test bench. takes structure-borne transfer, modal behavior effects structural dynamics into account.

Analysis and Design of a Permanent-Magnet Outer-Rotor Synchronous Generator for a Direct-Drive Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine

In Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Generators (PMSGs) the reduction of cogging torque is one of the most important problems in their performance and evaluation. In this paper, at first, a direct-drive vertical-axis wind turbine is chosen. According to its nominal value operational point, necessary parameters for the generator is extracted. Due to an analytical method, four generators with differen...

Model simplification and optimization of a passive wind turbine generator

In this paper, the design of a ‘‘low cost full passive structure’’ of wind turbine system without active electronic part (power and control) is investigated. The efficiency of such device can be obtained only if the design parameters are mutually adapted through an optimization design approach. For this purpose, sizing and simulating models are developed to characterize the behavior and the eff...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
