Experimental Study on Performance of Local Bond-Slip Test of Steel Strand Tendons and Concrete

In order to study the bond-slip constitutive model between prestressed tendons and concrete, pull-out tests of single-strand multi-strands specimens are carried out. The effect number on failure mode, slip characteristics concrete strain analyzed, models for single- strand multi-strand also proposed. results show that bond mechanism steel is basically similar deformed bar, but process along axis direction accompanied by rotation phenomenon because it twisted. Moreover, compared with tendon, average ultimate stress each tendon three-strand decreases 13.2%. addition, calculated result limit load only 2% higher than experimental value, while corresponding value 3.74% lower value. This means proposed have high reliability.
