Experimental observation of spin glass state in the highly disordered quaternary Heusler alloy FeRuMnGa

The realization of the spin-glass (SG) state in Heusler alloys is very rare despite presence inherent structural and elemental disorder those compounds. Although a few half- full-Heusler are known to exhibit SG state, there hardly any manifestation same cases quaternary Here we report observation highly disordered equiatomic compound: FeRuMnGa where between canonical cluster glass. Different intricate features including nonequilibrium magnetic dynamics at low temperatures compound unveiled through our comprehensive magnetic, heat capacity, neutron-diffraction studies. sample neither conventional $A2$- nor $B2$ -type whereas two types commonly observed for also plays significant role electron transport properties alloy, which reflected its exhibition semimetallic behavior anomalous Hall effect temperatures.
