Experimental Investigations of Forced Convection of Nanofluids in Smooth, Horizontal, Round Tubes: A Review

A comprehensive review of published works dealing with experimental studies forced convection heat transfer nanofluids is presented. The survey limited to straight, smooth, and round tubes. Moreover, only mono exhibiting Newtonian behaviour are considered. Works on research in tubes presented a chronological order the first part article. In this part, attention was paid influence nanoparticles intensification transfer. Information tested nanofluids, measurement technique used, range tabular form. Correlation equations proposed by individual researchers also explain controversy regarding different influences intensity during second paper presents comparison test results obtained for same nanofluid, possibly under thermal flow conditions. Finally, main conclusions discussed.
