چکیده
Although variability of noise and pollutant emissions are usually associated with vehicular speed acceleration, driving style, mainly related to gear-shift internal engine variables such as revolutions per minute (RPM) or load (EL), can also play a key role. Moreover, the contribution each variable for fuel consumption, vary different vehicle-motorization types. However, effect on is not fully exploited in literature. Thus, this work aims assess impact gear selection, RPM, EL carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), terms sound power level (Lw) diesel passenger vehicle. This focused gear-based controlled on-road environment. Internal observable (fuel EL) kinematic (speed acceleration) were recorded second-by-second time basis using an On-Board Diagnostic System, data Sound Level Meter. Pollutant estimated Vehicle Specific Power (VSP) methodology 1Hz frequency. In study, Clustering Disjoint Principal Component Analysis applied find patterns hidden data. An Ordered Logit model predict based exploring kinetic variables, that influenced by driver’s developed. Preliminary results highlight potential developed show influence selection minimizing emissions. These findings establish foundation developing sustainability indicator only but relevant understand vehicle performance alleviate relative impacts style if integrated into control units.

This work presents a methodology to adjust the electronic control system of a reciprocating internal combustion engine test bench and the effect of the control parameters on emissions produced by the engine under two extreme situations: unadjusted and adjusted, both under transient operation. The aim is to provide a tuning guide to those in charge of this equipment not needed to be experts in c...
متن کاملSimulation of Fuel Consumption and Engine Pollutant in Cellular Automaton
Among the aspects that require a major interest in the field of traffic modeling is the simulation of the fuel consumption and engine emissions. In this paper, we study the fuel consumption and gas emissions caused by traffic in the Nagel and Schreckenberg (NaSch) model, and some of its variants, with closed boundary conditions. The behavior of the consumption and the emissions in different mod...

In recent years, promising methods have been used to increase thermal efficiency, reduce nitrogen oxide and particle matter, which can be described as an example of an ethanol fuelled HCCI engine. But despite the many benefits of these engines, they continue to face problems such as increasing carbon monoxide production, unburned hydrocarbon, and producing combustion noise at high loads. In thi...
