Experimental and MCFT-Based Study on Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Subjected to In-Plane Shear Forces

Abstract Testing of concrete panels subjected to pure in-plane shear loading is necessary elucidate the behavior concrete. However, available data for predicting capacity and steel fiber-reinforced are rather limited. This study aims evaluate made highly flowable strain hardening (HF-SHFRC) experimentally analytically, respectively, using a panel tester loaded under modified compression field theory (MCFT). The test was conducted machine at University Toronto. results HF-SHFRC demonstrated tension after first crack, as indicated by increase in stress crack panel. An analysis procedure proposed strength (SFRC) based on experimental SFRC obtain reliable results. A comparison obtained from experiments show that it accurately predicted response HF-SHFRC. MCFT-based can provide valuable insight understanding loading.
