Experimental and Analytical Study on Performance of Fiber-Reinforced Self-Stressed Concrete

چکیده

Expansive cement is a unique type of that, when mixed with water, produces paste which expands in volume significantly more than standard Portland cement. This expansion nullifies the deficit shrinkage that arises during concrete hardening. paper presents outcomes two phases experimentation. Phase I provides summary performance expansive mixes prepared various proportions cement, partially supplements ordinary and infused varying amounts PVA fibers 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5%, as form reinforcement under compression, tension, flexure. Concrete strength, curing effect, are variables study. The II findings provide buckling behavior self-stressed columns reinforced optimum mix obtained from investigation was poured inside steel tubes thicknesses 2 mm 2.5 to restrict concrete, thereby making it concrete. D/t ratio, inclusion for 2% showed better other columns.
