Experiencing the past through archaeological fiction: a novel on Mohenjodaro by Ali Baba

This study focuses on the book entitled “Mohan Jo Daro”, a fictional account (Novel) of Mohenjodaro and Indus Civilization. In Sindhi literature, novel titled Daro” is literary work representing ancient culture civilisation. It has been playing key role in understanding experiencing past Sindh. The Novel was written by famous novelist short-story writer, Ali Muhammad, popularly known as Baba. one reasons for popularity Baba among Sindhi-speaking audiences. Being an archaeology fiction book, plays making people experience Sindh (through Civilization) stylised way. this research, studied framework science (archaeology) popularisation “experiencing past”. explores, identifies brings out information included about Mohenjodaro. aesthetic context Baba’s also highlighted research.
