Exergy Analysis of a CI Engine Operating on Ternary Biodiesel Blends

Exergy analysis is carried out on a single-cylinder CI engine fueled with biodiesel blends of palm, jatropha and cottonseed oils. This to identify the high exergy destruction. To this end, experimental analytical methods were adopted. Three types incorporated in study are primary, binary ternary. The load was varied as an independent parameter, mass flow rates air fuel, flue gas composition, etc., measured during study. Moreover, chemical composition fuel gas, well their rates, used determine total exergy. output parameters determined 1st 2nd law efficiency destruction under all loading conditions. inference obtained from experiment suggests minutely higher for blends. Increasing blending ratio led increase indices.
