چکیده

Abstract There is considerable scientific literature on MOF-based antibacterial textiles, especially with in situ methodologies for their synthesis. On the contrary, ex synthesis of MOFs fabrics has been little explored. Although, latter may have more significant advantages when expectation to scale up process industrially. The present study describes obtained MOF-199 and MOF-UiO-66-NH 2 onto carboxylated polyester/cotton (PETco) textile fibers preliminary-qualitative analysis as potential textiles. For this, free synthesized were anchored a previously PETco fiber, using conditions that seek formation coordination bonds between carboxyl groups fiber metal MOF. After soxhlet purification water methanol than 48 h, by FTIR-ATR XRD shows superposition signals typical MOF, resembling what was reported cotton-MOF systems. XPS showed 4.47% Cu, Cu–O-C interactions MOF-199@PETco, 12.06% Zr, Zr-O-C MOF UiO-66-NH @PETco. Results corroborated SEM micrographs, which show expected morphology MOF-199, homogeneously distributed crystals they are fiber.
