Ex-situ propagation by cutting of Flemingea faginea (Guill. Perr.) (Burkina Faso, West Africa)

Medicinal plants are especially used by vulnerable populations in Burkina Faso to solve their health problems. Flemingia faginea is a medicinal plant overexploited and its wetland habitat threatened climate change. Thus, this study aims promote the ex-situ reproduction of F. faginea, make it accessible as remedy for people suffering from blood pressure disease. The capacity cutting has been tested using two types substrates four cuttings. results showed that composite substrate performing better than sterilized sand height growth (PË‚0.001), leaves production (PË‚0.006) number branching (PË‚0.001). As concerned, apical cuttings recorded parameters others nursery about centimetre (14.44 ± 9.37a), (5.11 3.18a) median greatest (2.30 2.03a).
