Evolutionary Relationship of Protein Sequences of SARS-CoV-2 and Other Viruses through Chaos Game Representation

چکیده
Comparison between different biological sequences is a key step in bioinformatics when analyzing similarities of and phylogenetic relationships. A method graphically representing known as Chaos Game Representation (CGR) has achieved many applications the studies bioinformatics. The issue application CGR to extract useful features possible from CGR. Initially, was applied DNA sequences, but this paper, CGR-based approach used suitable for comparing protein SARS-CoV-2 other viruses. For aim, several viral 12 groups are considered centroid, amino acid frequency, compounded Shannon entropy, Kullback-Lieber Discrimination Information find inter-relationship among sequences. experimental results demonstrate potential strengths examining evolutionary relationship Our powerful extracting effective therefore important classifying proteins inferring phylogeny

Evolutionary Analysis of Mammalian ACE2 and the Key Residues Involved in Binding to the Spike Protein Revealed Potential SARS-CoV-2 Hosts
Introduction: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spilled over to humans via wild mammals, entering the host cell using angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) as receptor through Spike (S) protein binding. While SARS-CoV-2 became fully adapted to humans and globally spread, some mammal species were infected back. The present study evaluated the potential risk of mammals...
متن کاملAnalysis of genomic sequences by Chaos Game Representation
MOTIVATION Chaos Game Representation (CGR) is an iterative mapping technique that processes sequences of units, such as nucleotides in a DNA sequence or amino acids in a protein, in order to find the coordinates for their position in a continuous space. This distribution of positions has two properties: it is unique, and the source sequence can be recovered from the coordinates such that distan...
متن کاملAccessory proteins of SARS-CoV and other coronaviruses.
The huge RNA genome of SARS coronavirus comprises a number of open reading frames that code for a total of eight accessory proteins. Although none of these are essential for virus replication, some appear to have a role in virus pathogenesis. Notably, some SARS-CoV accessory proteins have been shown to modulate the interferon signaling pathways and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. ...

Since its origin from Wuhan, China, it has been declared a pandemic and has effected several countries worldwide. This review article summarizes all the research, techniques, strategies, and treatment methodologies that are taking place internationally i...
متن کاملA Novel Genetic classification of SARS coronavirus-2 following whole nucleic acid and protein alignment of the isolated viruses
Background and aims: The end of 2019 has marked the year, which the human population encountered a novel virus; SARS-CoV-2 that causes a disease namely COVID-19. Here we focused on the genome and protein mutations and subsequently suggested a new classification of the SARS-CoV-2. Materials and Methods: Our study showed that some extra positions in the virus genome play a key role in the SARS-C...
