چکیده
The plastic deformation behavior under various strain-path changes in an A6022-T4 Al alloy sheet was studied, focusing on the evolution of direction strain rate ? and stress ratio ? after abrupt changes. A cruciform specimen used to measure change experimentally. Before change, represented well by associated flow rule with Yld2000-2d yield function isotropic hardening assumption. After abrupt-path temporarily deviated from rule, it could be again work increased roughly 4.0 MJ?m?3, which corresponded increment approximately 0.024 uniaxial tension rolling direction. transitions as a showed that both tend converge certain values regardless path if final angles are identical. It also found relationships between deviate immediately because cannot follow rapid ?. Crystal plasticity finite-element simulations reproduced qualitative tendencies observed experiments, but deviations were much more pronounced. Parametric studies tends different depending sensitivity, whereas same value irrespective sensitivity exponent. exponent m = 0.044 gave best fits experimental results terms abrupt-change path, although determined macroscopic strass-strain curves 0.002.

PLASTIC DEFORMATION BEHAVIOUR AT THE WORN SURFACE OF NOVEL CAST AL-ALLOY-TICP COMPOSITE
An AI-7wt%Si-5vol%TiCp was worn against a cast iron disc in a tri-pin-on-disc machine, under dry sliding conditions at the sliding speed of 0.24 m/s and applied loads of 6, 20 and 40 N/pin. Stress-strain (`3-^9) curves were constructed by measuring the microhardness and the equivalent strain gradients in near surface regions on the cross-sectional surface prepared parallel to sliding direction....

In this paper, the study of efficient bonding characteristics of AA6014 and AA1050 metal strips is carried out for Accumulative Roll Bonding (ARB) process. Among various Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) techniques, ARB process is widely used due to its ability to produce ultra-fine grained ( UFG) or nanostructured bulk material. It has been observed that, if the experimental pressure and corres...
متن کاملSimulation of Plastic Deformation Behavior of Ti-6Al-4V Alloy by Finite Element Method
Mechanical properties of alloys have a strong relation with microstructure and determination of their behavior can lead to multiple advantages. To obtain this goal, finite element method )FEM( is one of the best ways. In this study a series of experiments were carried out on the produced Ti-6Al-4V to obtain its mechanical characteristics and to prepare it for photographing in micro dimensions. ...
متن کاملDeformation Behavior and Microstructure Evolution of NiTiCu Shape Memory Alloy Subjected to Plastic Deformation at High Temperatures
Deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of NiTiCu shape memory alloy (SMA), which possesses martensite phase at room temperature, were investigated based on a uniaxial compression test at the temperatures of 700~1000 ◦C and at the strain rates of 0.0005~0.5 s−1. The constitutive equation of NiTiCu SMA was established in order to describe the flow characteristic of NiTiCu SMA, which is...
