MalignĂ melanom patĹĂ k agresivnĂm nĂĄdorĹŻm se stoupajĂcĂ incidencĂ a pĹesunem vĂ˝skytu do mladĹĄĂch vÄkovĂ˝ch kategoriĂ. PĹi metastazovĂĄnĂ lĂŠta patĹil diagnĂłze s velice rychlou infaustnĂ prognĂłzou (1). Ani onkologickĂŠ lĂŠÄebnĂŠ postupy (chemoterapie) nedokĂĄzaly prodlouĹžit mediĂĄn pĹeĹžitĂ o vĂce neĹž 6-9 mÄsĂcĹŻ. ObjevenĂ mutace BRAF V600 v r. 2002 bylo prĹŻlomem pochopenĂ etiologie malignĂho melanomu. V pĹĂpadÄ koĹžnĂho melanomu je prokĂĄzana u 40-60 % vĹĄech pĹĂpadĹŻ signalizuje horĹĄĂ prognĂłzu pacienta (2).
