چکیده
Introduction: Proximal humeral fractures are one of the most common long bone due to osteoporosis. The need for operative action can provide greater benefits than non-operative measures. However, difference between and measures in proximal is still controversial. This study aimed determine differences DASH (disability arm, shoulder, hand) scores as a function assessing upper extremity patients with after management at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital, Palembang, Indonesia.
Methods: Cross-sectional analytic observational study, which 37 research subjects participated this study. Univariate bivariate analyses were carried out using SPSS software on patient's sociodemographic data well clinical subjects.
Results: There was no statistically significant (DASH score) procedures fractures, p> 0.05.
 Conclusion: assessed by score Indonesia.

Dear Editor We read the article by Bagheri et al with great interest (1). We found the study interesting and comprehensive as four groups of patients, including operative and nonoperative in either pure dislocation or fracture dislocation, were compared in terms of Mayo wrist score, Grip strength, range of motion and radiographic parameters. It seems that the results were comparable to studies ...
متن کاملThe Comparison of Results of Treatment of Midshaft Clavicle Fracture between Operative Treatment with Plate and Non-Operative Treatment
Background: Clavicle fractures are common and usually heal without complications. In this study, we evaluated the outcomes of non-operative versus operative management of displaced fractures. Methods: In a prospective clinical trial study, sixty-five patients with displaced clavicle mid-shaft fractures were nonrandomly divided in two treatment groups. The first group underwent non-operative...
متن کاملProximal Humeral Fractures: Nonoperative Versus Operative Treatment
Background: Management of displaced proximal humeral fractures is subject of ongoing debate. Objectives: We aimed to review our results of operative treatment of proximal humeral fractures compared to age-, sex, and fracture-type controlled conservative treatment. We hypothesized that there is no significant difference in upper-extremity specific disability between patients treated with operati...
