Evaluation of thyroid dysfunctions frequency in the first trimester

Aim: The aim of the study is to determine frequency first-trimester thyroid dysfunction in pregnant women and investigate effect on some perinatal outcomes.
 Material Method: In study, Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free T4 T3 values who applied our outpatient clinic were retrospectively scanned recorded. As a result, 3224 included study. Pregnant evaluated as overt hypothyroidism, subclinical hyperthyroidism, hyperthyroidism euthyroid according TSH fT4 values. Results function tests results (age, gestational week, delivery type, baby gender, birth weight, gravida, parity, abortion) compared
 Results: mean age for screening was 28.6±3.1, week 38.7±2.1, weight 3037±324.73.6% (n=2369) normal euthyroid, 0.71% (n=23) 0.65% while 15.6% (n=507) overtly hypothyroid 9.4% 3 (n=304) found be hypothyroidism. A significant statistical difference not between outcome test outcomes abortion, strength, age, babies) (p> 0.05).
 Conclusion: high prevalence disease, especially observed women. More studies should done evaluate functions pregnancy outcomes.
