چکیده
In this work we analyze numerically different design configurations to be used in a R1234yf DMS cycle coupled with water source, transcritical CO2 heat pump for heating applications the building sector. Specifically, study temperature range proposed by European standard inlet/outlet temperatures of: 30 °C/35 °C, 40 °C/45 47 °C/55 °C and 55 °C/65 °C. Moreover, 25 °C/30 is also analyzed which expected indoor swimming pool applications. A inlet of 10 at evaporator was considered all cases. Results show that depending on coupling strategy between pump, optimal COP values obtained can vary up 30% whereas operating pressure 8%. configuration based splitting flow heated into condenser gas cooler system IHX best option ranges studied. The improvement maximum 5% (for applications) 25% space °C) when compared base considered. When not considered, basic without found option.

Several optimal discharge pressure correlations for transcritical CO2 heat pump in literature have been discussed in this paper. Most of them are related to the ambient temperature, the evaporation temperature and the gas cooler outlet temperature. A revised optimal discharge pressure model as the function of ambient temperature and water outlet temperature is developed based on earlier experim...

A transcritical heat pump (THP) cycle using carbon dioxide (CO2) as the refrigerant is known to feature an excellent coefficient of performance (COP) as a thermodynamic system. Using this feature, we are designing and building a system that combines a water-to-water CO2 heat pump with both hot and cold thermal storages know as Thermal Battery (TB) (Blarke, 2012). Smart and effective use of inte...
