چکیده
BackgroundRecently, vital pulp therapy is widely used all over the world. It aims to maintain viability and function of injured dental tissue. Direct capping recognized as one most common techniques in this approach.Aim studywe aimed compare histopathological response following direct using two different materials; exogenous nitric oxide (NOC-18) Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) dogs’ teeth. Methods materialsThe thirty-two premolars canines from four dogs (eight teeth per each dog) was exposed treated with either MTA (four group). The were extracted prepared for histologic evaluation after month three months, respectively. study evaluated formation dentine bridge, degree pulpitis, calcification coronal tissue odontoblasts layer activity. We have ethical approval achieve research scientific committee Faculty Dentistry, Damascus University.ResultsThe results showed that active statue NOC-18 group significantly more than a recall (P: 0.003). No significant difference found between categories bridge 3 months 1.000).ConclusionExogenous maybe has positive impact on calcified efficacy directly capped dog's teeth. Exogenous NO donors might offer alternative current agents Vital Pulp Therapy endodontic.

Pulp Response following Direct Pulp Capping with Dentin Adhesives and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate; An Animal Study
INTRODUCTION Pulp vitality and its continuous dentin prodution are essential for long-term success of direct pulp capping (DPC). The aim of present study was to evaluate the histopathological response of the canine pulp following DPC using either different dentin adhesive resins (DAR), calcium hydroxide (CH) or mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). METHODS AND MATERIALS DPC was done on 72 dog's t...
متن کاملDirect pulp capping with mineral trioxide aggregate: an observational study.
BACKGROUND Pulp capping in carious teeth has been considered unpredictable and therefore contraindicated. A recently developed material, mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), resists bacterial leakage and may provide protection for the pulp, allowing repair and continued pulp vitality in teeth when used in combination with a sealed restoration. METHODS Forty patients aged 7 to 45 years accepted p...

Introduction: The main aim during any dental treatment is to maintain vital pulp as long as possible. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess clinically the use of MTA in direct pulp capping in adult patient. Method: MTA was performed in two visits treatment protocol on direct pulp capping in adult. Results: Clinical and radiological examination conducted after 7 months post treatment of...
متن کاملA comparative histological analysis of human pulp following direct pulp capping with Propolis, mineral trioxide aggregate and Dycal.
BACKGROUND Permanent teeth pulp exposures have traditionally been treated with calcium hydroxide pulp capping. The aim of this study was to investigate the response of human pulp tissue which were mechanically exposed to a new material, Propolis and compare it with two existing and commonly used pulp capping agents (mineral trioxide aggregate and Dycal). METHODS Thirty-six intact human premol...

INTRODUCTION The aim of the present investigation was to compare the efficacy of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and 0.2% chlorhexidine (CHX) mixture to pure MTA, as a pulp capping material. METHODS AND MATERIALS The pulp of 24 lateral incisors and canines from four dogs were exposed and capped either with MTA or MTA+0.2% CHX. After 2 months the animals were sacrificed and the teeth were pre...
