چکیده
Tree height (H) is one of the most important tree variables and widely used in growth yield models, its measurement often time-consuming costly. Hence, height–diameter (H–D) models have become a great alternative, providing easy-to-use accurate tools for H prediction. In this study, H–D were developed Larix olgensis A. Henry northeastern China. The Chapman–Richards function with three predictors (diameter at breast height, dominant relative size individual trees) performed best. Nonlinear mixed-effects (NLME) nonlinear quantile regressions (NQR9, nine quantiles; NQR5, five NQR3, quantiles) further improved generalized model, successfully predictions. addition, predictions calibrated using several measurements from subsamples, which obtained different sampling designs sizes. results indicated that predictive accuracy was higher when by any number NLME model more than NQR9 models. best strategy NQR involved medium-sized trees. Overall, newly can provide highly L. olgensis.

Spatial Heterogeneity of Climate Change Effects on Dominant Height of Larch Plantations in Northern and Northeastern China
Determining the response of dominant height growth to climate change is important for understanding adaption strategies. Based on 550 permanent plots from a national forest inventory and climate data across seven provinces and three climate zones, we developed a climate-sensitive dominant height growth model under a mixed-effects model framework. The mean temperature of the wettest quarter and ...
متن کاملSeparating rhizosphere respiration from total soil respiration in two larch plantations in northeastern China.
The potential capacity of soil to sequester carbon in response to global warming is strongly regulated by the ratio of rhizosphere respiration to respiration by soil microbial decomposers, because of their different temperature sensitivities. To quantify relative contributions of rhizosphere respiration to total soil respiration as influenced by forest stand development, we conducted a trenchin...

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...
