چکیده
The purpose of this research is to study the damage structural metal materials by acoustic method under various external fatigue and thermal influences. A model describing process accumulation scattered micro-damages in material proposed, parameters which can be measured method. It shown that irreversible processes occur structure during cyclic loading, leading changes physical mechanical characteristics. assessment a large number informative control was carried out. established elastic waves depend on characteristics medium study. state surface layer used tasks earlier developed resource material. takes into account influence degradation proposed. results experimental studies confirming proposed are presented. Methods for determining proposed: modulus, yield strength, fracture toughness, internal stresses, grain size, etc. elements, without violating their strength serve as basis constructing complex materials. Examples practical use obtained ensuring safe operation critical elements considered. data make it possible assess damaged properties loading quickly using waves.

Phenomenological Damage Models of Anisotropic Structural Materials
Damage in metals is mainly the process of the initiation and growth of voids. A formulation for anisotropic damage is established in the framework of the principle of strain equivalence, principle of increment complementary energy equivalence and principle of elastic energy equivalence. This paper presents the development of an anisotropic damage theory. This work is focused on the development ...
متن کاملDamage detection and structural health monitoring of ST-37 plate using smart materials and signal processing by artificial neural networks
Structural health monitoring (SHM) systems operate online and test different materials using ultrasonic guided waves and piezoelectric smart materials. These systems are permanently installed on the structures and display information on the monitor screen. The user informs the engineers of the existing damage after observing signal loss which appears after damage is caused. In this paper health...
متن کاملDamage evaluation and corrosion detection in concrete by acoustic emission
Acoustic emission (AE) techniques have been extensively studied and applied to nondestructive testings (NDT) of concrete and concrete structures. For damage evaluation, AE behavior of concrete under compression could be analyzed, applying the rate process theory. Based on Loland's model in damage mechanics, a relation between AE rate and the damage parameter is correlated. By quantifying intact...
متن کاملModeling of Hygrothermal Damage of Composite Materials
Composite materials have been used extensively in various applications, such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and aviation thanks to their interesting mechanical properties. However, a substantial drawback in the use of such composite materials is that they absorb a significant amount of moisture when exposed to severe hygrothermal conditions. This factor dramatically affects t...
