چکیده
Amlok (Diospyros lotus L.) fruit is growing in the hilly areas of jammu region Jammu and Kashmir India. It locally known as amlok. This has black color small size astringent taste. Analysis was done quantitatively qualitatively for various secondary metabolites such total phenols, quercitin, flavonoids, alkaloids tannins with help standard methods. analyzed that contains abundant amount compared to rest metabolites. The antibacterial activity extract shows it great potential provide defense against wide spectrum infections because many pathogenic organisms. can diseases carcinogenic higher antioxidants reveled antioxidant power assay viz, DPPH Scavenging activity.
