چکیده
Background: Before bariatric surgery, diagnosis of OSAS is vital for the prevention both operative and postoperative complications. İn diagnosing OSAS, polysomnography (PSG) gold-standard method, but it cannot be performed on all patients due to cost time limitations. We aimed determine new predictive factors that we can use identify whom will perform PSG.Materials Methods: Preoperative height, weight, body mass index (BMI), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), mean platelet volume (MPV), (PMI), platelet-lymphocyte (PLR) were recorded. PSG was performed, apnea-hypopnea indices (AHI) determined. This process repeated one year after surgery. Results: A laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) in 57 patients. There statistically significant differences regarding age, BMI, PMI values between with without before surgery (P < 0.05). Also, detected preoperative BMI whose ultimately improved 0.05).Conclusions: LSG an effective method reduce weight and, therefore, improve OSAS. parameters are most important predicting selected based values.
