چکیده
Abstract Background One of the major side effects Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is retinopathy. The aim this study was to evaluate Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) parameters in a group patients who have Hydroxychloroquine-induced retinopathy based on Multifocal electroretinography (mfERG) with do not Method This Cross-Sectional Study. In study, Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) had been taking for at least 7 years were included. MfERG and OCTA imaging performed all patients. Patients divided into Normal mfERG Abnormal groups results. studied these two groups. Result Sixty-one (61 eyes) Forty-one SLE 20 RA. Forty (66.7%) mfERG. mean vascular density (VD) Superficial capillary plexus (SCP) layer significantly different between ( P -Value> 0.05). Mean VD SCP RA subgroup, PeriFovea region lower than normal -Value < deep (DCP) Whole Image, Superior Hemi, Inferior area discrepancy also observed subgroup but subgroup. none foveal avascular zone (FAZ) (mm2), Flow Area Outer Retina (mm2) Choriocapillaris statistically significant p -value> Conclusion DCP decreased abnormal compared But it seems that layer, FAZ are similar both may be used as non-invasive tool diagnosis early stages HCQ-induced retinopathy, especially patients, further studies needed.

Evaluation of Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography Findings in Patients with Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion
Purpose: To analyze the correlation of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) findings with visual acuity (VA) in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO). Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 20 eyes of 20 patients with unilateral BRVO involving the macula referred to the ophthalmology clinic of Rassoul Akram Hospital. OCTA imaging was conducted for all patie...
متن کاملOptical Coherence Tomography Angiography
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a noninvasive approach that can visualize blood vessels down to the capillary level. With the advent of high-speed OCT and efficient algorithms, practical OCTA of ocular circulation is now available to ophthalmologists. Clinical investigations that used OCTA have increased exponentially in the past few years. This review will cover the history ...

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was one of the biggest advances in ophthalmic imaging. Building on that platform, OCT angiography (OCTA) provides depth resolved images of blood flow in the retina and choroid with levels of detail far exceeding that obtained with older forms of imaging. This new modality is challenging because of the need for new equipment and processing techniques, current l...
