Objective: aimed to evaluate nurses' performance regarding intravenous cannulation. Methodology: In order attain the initial stated purpose, descriptive research was conducted for current study. The between February 20 and March 21, 2018. at AL-Najaf City/AL-Najaf AL-Ashraf Health Center Directorate / AL-Sader Medical City & AL-Zahra Teaching Hospital. A non-probability (accidental sample) of (100) male female nurses working Hospital with least one year experience. Before assigning them research, we received their permission. tool assessing cannulation skills used. data were collected using observational checklist approach designed questionnaire, which observed three times English version researchers interviews in same manner. Validity study instrument is through a panel experts years experience nursing field. information analyzed inferential statistics, included mean scores, as well statistical analysis techniques, frequency, percentage, cumulative percentage. Results: According al-Sader Al-Zahraa Hospitals Najaf have poor or insufficient abilities. two hospitals, it discovered that, respectively, 94% 82% staff poor.
