Evaluation of Non-Basal Slip Activity in Rolled Mg–Li Alloys

Tensile tests of rolled Mg–6.2 mol%Li and Mg–11.7 alloys were carried out at room temperature to clarify effects lithium addition on the relationship between mechanical properties activities slip systems. Ductility increased with increasing content. 0.2% proof stress when 6.2 was added. However, showed low stress, compared pure magnesium. On other hand, maximum decreased Frequency non-basal slips Also, first order pyramidal 〈c + a〉 highest frequency among in Mg–Li alloys. Critical resolved shear stresses for slips, which reduced by addition, ductility but tensile strength

15 صفحه اولcomparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.
heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
Some aspects of cross-slip mechanisms in metals and alloys
2014 Dislocation cross slip in FCC and HCP metals has been described in terms of various models. The development of these models is reviewed and their predictions are compared with recent experimental observations. Some macroscopic features of plastic deformation (creep activation energies, strength anomalies and deformation stages) are examined in the light of these microscopic mechanisms. J. ...
