Evaluation of Future Impacts of Climate Change, CO2, and Land Use Cover Change on Global Net Primary Productivity Using a Processed Model

چکیده
Few studies have focused on the combined impact of climate change, CO2, and land-use cover change (LUCC), especially evaluation LUCC net primary productivity (NPP) in future. In this study, we simulated overall NPP trend from 2010 to 2100 its response climatic factors, CO2 concentration, conditions under three typical emission scenarios (Representative Concentration Pathway RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP8.5). (1) Under predicted global pattern, showed an increasing trend, with most prominent variation at end century. The is mainly caused by positive effect NPP. However, has only a small effect. (2) RCP 8.5 scenario, 2090 2100, significant tropical areas, reaching 8.328 Pg C Yr−1. same conditions, greatest northern high latitudes (1.175 Yr−1), but it negative −4.842 (3) average contribution rate was 6.14%. RCP8.5 made largest (0.542 Yr−1) globally 2020.

Land-Use/Land-Cover Change and Its Impacts on Weather and Climate
Land-use and land-cover changes (LULCC) significantly affect weather and climate as iswell documented in the scientific literature. These impacts include changes in air temperature, precipitation, atmospheric moisture content, energy fluxes, and mesoscale and potentially large-scale circulations. Recently, the United States National Research Council (2005) highlighted the importance of LULCC an...

This study analyzes the characteristics of land use/land cover change in Jordan’s Irbid governorate, 1984–2018, and predicts future land use/land cover for 2030 and 2050 using a cellular automata-Markov model. The results inform planners and decision makers of past and current spatial dynamics of land use/land cover change and predicted urban expansion, for a better understanding and successful...
متن کاملPotential climate forcing of land use and land cover change
Pressure on land resources is expected to increase as global population continues to climb and the world becomes more affluent, swelling the demand for food. Changing climate may exert additional pressures on natural lands as present-day productive regions may shift, or soil quality may degrade, and the recent rise in demand for biofuels increases competition with edible crops for arable land. ...
متن کاملLand Cover, Land Use, and Climate Change Impacts on Endemic Cichlid Habitats in Northern Tanzania
Freshwater ecosystems are among the most threatened on Earth, facing environmental and anthropogenic pressures often surpassing their terrestrial counterparts. Land use and land cover change (LUCC) such as degradation and fragmentation of the terrestrial landscape negatively impacts aquatic ecosystems. Satellite imagery allows for an impartial assessment of the past to determine habitat alterat...
