چکیده
Cow dung is generally used as the feedstock material for anaerobic digestion to produce biogas. A selection of alternate biomass needed reduce consumption or eliminate use cow dung. Recently, cottonseed hull has been considered primary substrate In this paper, effect biogas production on co-digestion CD with pre-treated CSH using sulfuric acid, hydrochloric hydrogen per oxide, and acetic acid investigated. The concentration each varied 1%, 2%, 3%. addition, two alkaline, namely, sodium hydroxide calcium hydroxide, are at different concentrations 4%, 6%, 8%. yield obtained from mono-digestion chemically treated ratio 75:25 (CD: CSH) experimental results compared. enhancement batch reactors mesophilic temperature where mono- co-digested acid-treated alkaline-treated cotton seed observed maximum achieved 6% NaOH that offers 13-fold improvement over untreated during mono-digestion. Whereas in co-digestion, it a 6-fold Ca(OH)2.

Microbial Dynamics during Anaerobic Digestion of Cow Dung
The anaerobic digestion of cow dung was investigated for 30days in a laboratory scale batch reactor. Totally nine bacterial strains were isolated from cow dung slurry. The bacterial isolates were preliminarily examined by morphological characteristics and they were further confirmed by 16S rRNA sequencing and analyzed through BLAST. Microbial dynamics showed that hydrolytic bacterial population...
متن کاملReview on Biogas Production from Co- Digestion of Cow Dung and Foodwaste with Water Hyacinth
With Increasing Energy Demand in the World and to keep Environment Friendly, biogas technology has attained a notable position for the future scope. This paper tells about a comprehension review on anaerobic digestion of cow dung and food waste with Water hyacinths to enhance biogas productions. Water hyacinths are treated as waste in rivers, ponds, but they have high potential in biogas produc...
متن کاملAnaerobic digestion of mechanically treated OFMSW: experimental data on biogas/methane production and residues characterization.
One of the more promising processes for the energetic transformation of waste is the anaerobic digestion of the Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste (OFMSW). An experimental campaign was carried out on three different samples of OFMSW from Waste Separation (WS), one as received and two obtained after mechanical treatment (squeezing): OFMSW slurry (liquid fraction) and OFMSW Waste (residual...
متن کامل2. Production of Biogas by Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic digestion is a natural process in which bacteria convert organic materials into biogas. It occurs in marshes and wetlands, and in the digestive tract of ruminants. The bacteria are also active in landfills where they are the principal process degrading landfilled food wastes and other biomass. Biogas can be collected and used as a potential energy resource. The process occurs in an an...
متن کاملBiogas production with horse dung in solid-phase digestion systems.
Experiments on methanogenesis from horse dung were conducted in laboratory-scale batch reactors in order to determine the substrate performance in a solid-phase digestion process, more specifically in terms of potential energy recovery and suitable process technology. Dung from a horse stable with straw bedding was used. The temperature was kept in the mesophilic range. In the percolation proce...
