Evaluation of antiulcer activity of herbal drugs on experimental animal: Myrica nagi (Myricaceae)

چکیده

The anti-ulcer activity of Methanolic extract Myrica nagi (Myricaceae) fruit MEMN was investigated in pylorus ligation and methanol-induced ulcer models Wistar rats. In both models, the common parameter determined index at doses 200,400 mg/kg p.o produced significant inhibition gastric lesions induced by Aspirin-induced ulcers & ligation-induced ulcers. (200, 400 mg/kg) showed a (P < 0.001) reduction volume, free acidity as compared to control. This present study indicates that has potential antiulcer models. These results may further suggest methanolic found possess genic well healing properties.
