Evaluation of Anteroposterior Lip Position in Different Skeletal Malocclusions

Introduction: The horizontal position of upper and lower lips have been great concern when planning a treatment plan an orthodontic patient, because the purpose is to establish esthetic facial profile not just functional occlusion.
 Objectives: objective this research was determine anteroposterior lip in three skeletal malocclusion groups analyze different soft tissue lines.
 Material Methodology: This study comprised eighty one subjects lateral cephalographs were taken natural head position. Five reference lines—Sushner, Steiner, Burstone, Holdway, Ricketts drawn after radiographs traced. linear measurement between five lines recorded. For statistical analysis, SPSS 21 used.
 Results: Using lines, significant difference various malocclusions discovered.
 Conclusion: pattern shown be related sagittal positions. Every group had preferred lines.
