چکیده
The present study evaluates the adjuvant effect of rec-B2L protein orf virus and widely used oil with purified inactivated FMDV 146S trivalent antigens (O, A Asia 1) in guinea pig model. Rec-B2L expressed prokaryotic expression system was co-administered intradermally antigens. serum antibody titre, CMI response protective efficacy against FMDV-type ‘O’ virulent challenge were assessed. titres group found highest. However, showed better titre than control group. levels IgG1 to be constant throughout experiment except some fluctuations noticed on 14th 28th dpv serotype Asia1. higher IgG2 alone. Further, also reflected by enhanced IFN-γ, TNF-β dpv; IL-15, IL-10 7 immunized samples. a centum protection following dpv. These preliminary findings indicate protein.

Cross-protective efficacy of recombinant transferrin-binding protein A of Haemophilus parasuis in guinea pigs.
The causative agent of Glasser's disease in swine is Haemophilus parasuis. Commercial bacterins are widely used for protection of the swine population. However, cross protection is limited because H. parasuis has more than 15 serovars. Transferrin-binding protein A has shown potential as a broad-spectrum vaccine candidate against homologous and heterologous strains. Here we amplified the full-l...
متن کاملEvaluation of Seroconversion in Guinea Pigs Following Inoculation of New Formulations of Rubella Vaccine
Background and Aims: Rubella is a contagious viral disease mostly with mild clinical symptoms and often remains undiagnosed. Rubella infection may adversely affect pregnancy, especially in the first trimester and this mother to child transmission can cause congenital rubella and may be lead to permanent disability and mortality in children. Effective rubella vaccine should be prepared using sui...
متن کاملComparison of the Adjuvanticity of Aluminum Salts and Their Combination in Hepatitis B Recombinant Protein Vaccine Assessed in Mice
Background: Several adjuvants have been evaluated for vaccine formulations but alu-minum salts will continue to be used for many years due to their safety, low cost and adjuvanticity with different antigens. Two commonly used aluminum adjuvants, alumi-num hydroxide and aluminum phosphate have different adjuvanticity properties. Com-mercial recombinant protein hepatitis B vaccines containing alu...
متن کاملEvaluation of Thimerosal Removal on Immunogenicity of Aluminum Salts Adjuvanted Recombinant Hepatitis B Vaccine
Thimerosal, which is approximately 50% mercury by weight is a preservative widely used in vaccines since the 1930’s. It meets the requirements for a preservative as set forth by Pharmacopeia challenge test and has been shown to be effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens. In July 1999, the Public Health Service agencies and vaccine manufacturers agreed that thimerosal should be redu...
متن کاملEvaluation the Efficacy of Anthrax Vaccine against Challenge with a Highly Virulent Strain of Bacillus anthracis Isolated from Soil in Sheep, Goats and Guinea Pigs in Iran
Protection of animals immunized against Bacillus anthracis is usually demonstrated by challenging with an appropriate dose of a strain of Bacillus anthracis that is lethal to unvaccinated animals inoculated at the same time. In this study the protective efficacy in anthrax vaccine (34F2 sterne strain spore) was evaluated in sheep, goats and guinea pigs challenged with subcutaneous inoculation...
