The bustle pipe model of a running 2500 m3 blast furnace was established. local and overall uniformity indexes the raceway were defined constructed. And then effects flow rate, diameter length all tuyeres or No. 2 tuyere on circumferential quantitatively evaluated. It shown that decreased with increasing when rate increased from 4300 m3/min to 4700 m3/min, index 0.1715 0.0760. had significant effect uniformity, while showed little influence. could be improved by minimum kinetic energy. When 140 mm, 0.207, but energy only about 64 kJ/s which couldn’t meet smelting. requirement. While near hot main 126 0.124, 120.11 still within reasonable range. it feasible improve adjusting one some off-average not all.
