چکیده

Abstract Aims Sexual dysfunction (SD) is common in female patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) reporting overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. The aim of the study was to evaluate effects transcutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (TTNS) and pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) biofeedback on SD MS OAB Methods Patients were allocated receive TTNS or PFMT daily. Overactive symptoms, sexual functions, quality life assessed at baseline 6 th weeks. Female Function Index (FSFI), Bladder Questionnaire (OABv‐8), Quality Life‐Female (SQoL‐F) questionnaires used. Results Thirty (TTNS = 10, 20) included study. Compared baseline, total FSFIOABv‐8, SQoL‐F scores improved both ( p 0.005, 0.011, 0.444, respectively) 0.002, 0.001, groups. Between‐group comparisons did not show any significant differences. Conclusion This demonstrates efficacy for improving function but superiority particular method. Further studies are required investigate differences between these two non‐invasive methods.
