Evaluating Pallet Investment Strategy Using Fuzzy Analytic Network Processes: A Case in Chinese Chain Supermarkets

Presently in Chinese chain supermarkets, many enterprises have built automatic equipment and information facilities the logistics center of their supply systems. Modern technology largely depend on resource integration each role (such as suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers), especially resources, to realize circulation products. The pallet, which is an indispensable basic tool for a system process product circulation, most often used handling, stacking, storage, transportation building automation informationization supermarket chains requires solving problems cost sharing pallets operations. Large-scale spend millions dollars investment, failure can cause significant harm enterprise. Therefore, authors this paper adopted fuzzy analytic network (FANP), combining ANP models evaluate our studied case. We utilized actual case research object resolve important decisions regarding pallet investment system. Importantly, it expected that proposed method provide reference standard or new idea decision makers industry related industries.
