چکیده

Abstract Precision irrigation management requires operational monitoring of crop water status. However, there is still some controversy on how to account for stress. To address this question, several physiological, physiological metrics have been proposed, such as the leaf/stem potentials, stomatal conductance, or sap flow. On other hand, thermal remote sensing has shown be a promising tool efficiently evaluating stress at adequate spatial and temporal scales, via Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI), one most common indices used assessing plant CWSI relates actual evapotranspiration ET (related canopy radiometric temperature) potential (or minimum temperature). remotely sensed surface temperature from satellite sensors includes mixture soil/substrate temperatures, while what required accurate detection more related metrics, transpiration, latter avoids influence in determining status The Two-Source Energy Balance (TSEB) model widely robust sensing. Estimating evaporation with thermal UAV data and two-source energy balance models

Estimating evaporation is important when managing water resources and cultivating crops. Evaporation can be estimated using land surface heat flux models and remotely sensed land surface temperatures (LST), which have recently become obtainable in very high resolution using lightweight thermal cameras and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In this study a thermal camera was mounted on a UAV and a...

Modeling Surface Energy Fluxes over a Dehesa (Oak Savanna) Ecosystem Using a Thermal Based Two-Source Energy Balance Model (TSEB) I

Savannas are among the most variable, complex and extensive biomes on Earth, supporting livestock and rural livelihoods. These water-limited ecosystems are highly sensitive to changes in both climatic conditions, and land-use/management practices. The integration of Earth Observation (EO) data into process-based land models enables monitoring ecosystems status, improving its management and cons...
