Ethnomedicinal study of medicinal plants used to cure dental diseases by the indigenous population of district Buner, Pakistan

This is the first study of its own kind conducted with aim to document and conserve ethnomedicinal knowledge plants used cure dental diseases in Buner, Pakistan provide starting point for future pharmacological studies about new herbal drugs disorders. Several field trips were 2018-19 collect indigenous medicinal plants. A semi-structured questionnaire was as tool data collection individual group interviews informants selected by snowball sampling. In this 935 men 323 women interviewed, yielding 55 plant species belonging 34 families. Lamiaceae Solanaceae dominant families main life forms herbs (28 species).
